Viewed as a single market, our area of activity is far from homogenous. Presence, a well-developed network of contacts and good local knowledge of both market and culture are absolutely necessary for success.
This is why we have our own offices and showrooms in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, Tallinn and Riga. Our staff are hand-picked, competent and with extensive contacts in the local market.
Co-ordinated initiatives covering all or parts of our region are managed from our head office in Gothenburg. From here we can, for example, plan and manage an information flow or roll out a campaign, adapted to suit the time and the geographical region. This creates major synergy effects and an extra degree of efficiency for our clients.

Building Brands
Building a brand is an ongoing process. To achieve success, the market must be approached in several ways at the same time, especially if a brand is aimed at a broad target group of consumers. A good balance between the various activities is necessary to optimise the effectiveness of initiatives undertaken.
Some methods can be both resource-intensive and have a relatively high risk factor in terms of the investment made, for example an advertising campaign. Other methods often have a greater impact yet with less risk in terms of the investment made, for example making contact with the press, and this is the sector on which Polhem PR focuses. It is also the sector where there is the greatest untapped potential.
With our roots in the fashion industry, we have always been fully aware of the necessity of being receptive and maintaining close contact with the world around us. This is particularly necessary in industries where trends and directions are constantly changing.

The drawing up of PR strategies including everything from formulating objectives and choosing a suitable activity to the choice of media, scheduling and cost calculations.
Press shows
We organise both separate press shows for individual clients and press shows in which we co-ordinate a number of clients.
Press releases
We formulate, produce and distribute press releases to up-to-date address databases. We then provide quality assurance by following up to make sure that the message has reached the right addressees.
Press samples and pictures
We distribute press samples and pictures to journalists and stylists and, of course, control the returns of samples. We also distribute catalogues, brochures, etc. and formulate accompanying letters. New launches are presented at our showrooms.

State Of The Art Technology
Polhem PR makes exclusive use of the latest technology. A specially produced, IT-based system provides our clients with relevant, user-friendly analyses and reports of activities undertaken. The system also forms the basis of the way we structure and organise the handling of product samples and provide selected information about samples lent out to the media.
All of these press samples are labelled with barcodes. This makes it easy to keep track of and trace samples lent out. We also label all press samples with the retail outlet, phone number, range of sizes, material composition, price and return address. This makes it easy for a journalist to use a sample received from Polhem PR.
All communication with clients and journalists takes place via the Internet. All pictures of products registered are scanned in and can be e-mailed straight to our clients. We can send information about new lines directly to the various shops in chain companies.
The industry's most modern IT system provides our clients with detailed analyses of new lines. We measure the area of all pictures, and every season we produce summaries of the number of readers/viewers, total picture area, media coverage and PR effect calculated in terms of advertising cost and cost per contact.

No Cure - No Pay
Our aim is that our clients perceive that they get value for their money! We do not invoice a completed activity until we have succeeded in achieving media coverage for a product or a new publication. Launches where only a small part of a product is seen are discounted.
Launches on TV are billed by agreement in each individual case.
If clients prefer a totally fixed cost, we do of course offer this option.
Polhem PR can also arrange press shows, e.g. in connection with the launch of a new collection, produce press pictures and write more comprehensive, informative reports. We can distribute brochures and other press material to journalists and stylists in our continuously updated database. This is all done based on a fixed quotation.
